Here’s Something You Don’t See Every Day...But, I Do

 

here's one closed for the day- I don't speak Italian...so, I don't know what a "macelleria" is

here's one open...I learn a "macelleria" is a butcher shop and I can guess what "equina" means

yeah, I heard they exist in other countries, but had never actually noticed one.

That said, I am not opposed to trying horse meat, I just haven't seen it on a menu yet, though I am not sure I would want to order an entire dinner, instead hoping to just try a bite of something (preferably cooked by someone who I have enjoyed another dish from). I will keep my eye out for the opportunity to present itself.
