Trivia Finals - How would you have done?

Thursday, May 26 - Elbo Room, Albany - $1,000 final game

Even though the Stern Fans (BOOOOO - Skid Marks still there booing us!) would be minus one very important fan for a little while, we had talked about continuing to meet every once in a while. Based on schedules, May 26th was the day we could all agree on. Then I got an e-mail from Trevor informing me that it was also the final game of the Team Trivia challenge that had started in Feb and that we were actually still part of the top 8 teams, and would be able to participate. So I rallied the Fans as best I could - Me, Mom, Dad, Jackie, Trevor and Maria - The Stern Fans were ready for the final game. Chuck came to "cheer" us on...doubtful we would be any good w/o our music expert. Of course I wrote down the questions, a courtesy we always extend to those Stern Fans who can't make it to the game because of other commitments. There were definitely a few that a "music expert" would have most likely known. But we did our best, and it was good to see Trevor and Maria.

Here is how it works:

Each question has a point value associated with it. You get the points for questions you get right and lose points if you get them wrong. You can SKIP 2 questions and you can DOUBLE DOWN - give 2 answers for the same question...if one is correct you get the points, BUT if you're wrong you lose double the points. There are some double, triple and quadruple bonus questions. There were three "wager" questions - where he gave us the subject of the question and we wagered part or all of our points based on the subject...I'll tell you how many points we had...but not how much we wagered so you can decide for yourself. FYI - During the game there is NO use of Cell Phones, Internet, etc to help with answers.
