As expected, this country is Easter crazy and everywhere you look the preparations are being made. Including ours. El and I are heading to Rome for the long weekend and the plans are starting to come together now. Saturday, when we were at the train station, we bought our tickets. Those in hand we are able to start making preparations for while we are in town. We are arriving in Rome Friday at noon and leaving Tuesday morning. We will stay with cousin Roberta. The list has five things on it: visit with relatives on Monday in the town of Torri In Sabina, Easter Sunday feast with Aunt Rina, visit with family in the town of Campagnano on Saturday afternoon, take a wine vineyard tour with pizza making class on Saturday morning in the town of Frascati, and on Friday eat dinner at the restaurant said to make the finest pasta carbonara in the city. It’s going to be an Easter to remember.
