When traveling I sometimes run into things that make me scratch my head. Sometimes it is a funny name for a business. Sometimes it is a missed translation on a menu. Sometimes it is just a scene on a street that you just say to yourself "how did that happen (get there)?" I have a section of my travel journal that I called "hmmm photos" which is a collection of these scenes from different trips. We have now been in Bari longer than we have ever traveled on a single trip, so I have a couple of examples already. However, things used to make me smile, chuckle a little, and shake my head, before grabbing my camera and moving on. These days I find I am adding a few moments to ponder what exactly I am looking at or what they were thinking before moving on. I don't always walk away with answers. But, I do walk away with photos. This could be the beginning of a series.
wouldn't seeing this pizza place cause you to wonder "so, who came up with that business name?" and how is that working out for them?
