Day #16/31: Sunglasses

DAY #16: SUNGLASSES

This is an undoctored photo that was shot during the week that El and I were vacationing in Chernigov and Kiev last year. One thing that could have made this picture better would be if the glass in the window was stained, which can make for some beautiful colors being projected onto the interior walls of the room. I don’t usually visit churches, opting usually to sit and journal while waiting for El. Sometimes El will come out and tell me that this is one place that she thinks I should see, but often I am dressed “inappropriately” for such a visit. When we are travelling I am mostly concerned about my comfort. If we are in a city that is warm, I would rather dress for the weather, than for the few minutes to see something that I may or may not be interested in. El seeks out the cathedrals. I seek out record shops. This picture will have to suffice, because unfortunately, most record shops don’t have stained glass windows either.
