DAY #23: MOON
Now, I know that I do not always dress in a way that is considered “appropriate” when visiting houses of worship or other places where modest attire might be expected or required. Sometimes, to deal with the heat and remain comfortable, I will wear shorts. But, this little ditty caught my attention, as well as most of the other people in the vicinity. This photo was taken right outside of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kiev. Obviously we weren’t inside, so I can only assume that this young lady would have been barred from entering the church wearing this ensemble. I am in no position to judge another for their choice of dress. I only find the juxtaposition of the attire (or lack thereof) and the church grounds to be humorous. Surely, if they let her in with these pants I should have no problem getting in with my pants.
